Steve Kinney, a lifelong resident of Jefferson, has served on the Jefferson City
Council for 15 years. He is owner of J.H. Kinney and Sons. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors
of Arts in Insurance and Risk Management. He is a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson. He is active
in the church choir. Steve is 2004 Chairman of the Jackson County United Way.
Steve and wife, Jane, have three
children: Stephen, Robby, and Ginger.
