Profile:
District 2
I am a lifelong resident of Georgia, growing up in Sugar Hill and graduating from North Gwinnett High School. I attended Kennesaw State University where I studied history and business law.
I moved to Jackson County in 1996 where I met my husband Josh Maddox. We have 5 children, Garrett, Rheagan, McCain, Judson and Hutch. I have been active in the Jefferson community for over 20 years through our family’s store, Maddox Feed and Seed, and my personal business, Jefferson Power Yoga. I am currently employed through the Jefferson City School system as a substitute teacher. I mentor children through Legacy Youth Mentoring in both the Jefferson City and Jackson County school systems. Our dog, Lady Lou, and I are a therapy team through Alliance of Therapy Dogs. We visit children in our local school systems to calm their nerves and give love, attention and affection.
