Public Works
The Street Division maintains our city streets, patches and repaves sections that have been torn up. But they do a lot more than just streets, they maintain our city parks and trails, keeping them mowed and well kept. They pick up our brush and yard waste and they maintain city property and buildings. You can always spot them around town working at the Civic Center, Curry Creek Park, patching one of our roads or see them in the neighborhood picking up yard waste.
The City of Jefferson Street Department was the recipient of the
2016 Project of the Year Award
Small Cities/Rural Communities Transportation
