Jon Howell is a native of Georgia, growing up in the town of Hampton, GA. He is a “Double Dawg” with a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Master of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
He has the privilege of serving on several boards of directors, including the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, UGA Alumni Association Board, Jackson County Habitat for Humanity Board and the Piedmont Region Board of Library trustees. He is the immediate past President and Chairman of Deacons for the Rotary of Jefferson and the First Baptist Church of Jefferson, respectively. He is a graduate of Leadership Jackson and Leadership Georgia. He is married to Emily Foster Howell. The Howell’s are active members of their church and have a two extroverted daughters, Georgie (8) and Lucy (6).
