Model : Brockway Torpedo
This Brockway LaFrance Torpedo Pumper was Jefferson’s second motorized fire pump and was completely restored by the members of our department back in 1990. This truck is still in operation today and is used during parades, weddings or special events.

Year : 1953
Model : American LaFrance
Our 1953 Ford American LaFrance Pumper was also a restoration project back in 1985 by our members. This apparatus was restored to its full capacity and is still counted as a reserve engine. With a 500 gallon per minute pump and the necessary equipment needed, this pumper fought a-many of fires back in her day including several cotton mill fires and the Joy Theater fire on the downtown square to name a few.

Model :Marion Body Works
Engine-11 was one of two apparatus purchased in 2016. This apparatus is on a 2016 Marion Body Works Spartan chassis. See carries 750 gallons of water and has a 1500 GPM Waterous pump. Housed in our downtown station, this apparatus carries the latest in firefighting equipment. This apparatus is located in the heart of old down town Jefferson.

Model : American LaFrance
Truck-11 was also purchased in 1999 and is on a 2000 American Lafrance Eagle chassis with Central States coachwork. Carrying 500 gallons of water and a 2000 GPM Hale pump, and a 75’ rear mounted ladder with a pre-piped master stream. Truck-11 works out of Station 11 in our downtown and industrial areas.

Model : Spartan
Squad 11 is the newest piece of emergency response equipment that the Jefferson Fire Department has. The unit was delivered to the Department in 2009 and is capable of transporting up to 6 responders, including the driver. This is a heavy-duty rescue vehicle that carries equipment and materials to support Department personnel in responding to structure fires, vehicle accidents, heavy-duty rescue, and hazardous materials incidents.

Model : Freightliner
Engine-13 is our reserve engine, which was delivered in November of 2002. She is on a 2002 Freightliner FL-112 chassis with Central States coachwork. This engine carries 750 gallons of water that is pumped by a 1750 GPM Hale pump. Housed in station 2 north of town.
